| RED DWARF: THE MOVIE is set in the distant future where Homo Sapienoids - a fearsome combination of flesh and machine - have taken over the solar system and almost wiped out the human race. The only survivors are the crew of long-haul space freighters that left Earth before the conflict began. The Sapienoids send four fleets of Death Ships to hunt them down.
One by one - the human ships fall, until only one remains. It's name RED DWARF... |

| There are rumors of a Bounty Hunter, a Queen of a planet, a Body Guard and a Financial Advisor making an appearence in the movie.
The ship will find its way back to Earth and crashing into it, causing the same affect as a comet would and wipes all life off the planet, leaving only the crew of the Dwarf alive. Red Dwarf creators Doug Naylor and Rob Grant will have cameo appearances in the movie. Also signed up for small roles are former Kryten Actor David Ross and former Holly Actress Hattie Hayridge. |
||
The Red Dwarf ship will be the re-mastered version and not a model previously used in Series I - V. At one point in the movie the ship is blown in two.
